About Prodigal Sons

The Prodigal Sons were born out of a love of music. Brothers Tom and Johnny McNulty, along with Kettle of Fish frontman Dana Lawrence, enjoy the nuance of harmonies and the exploration of how deep acoustic instruments can go. Playing everything from Americana (a lá the Grateful Dead and The Band) and Celtic (traditional favorites to modern sounds from Flogging Molly and The Pogues) to classic rock (Rolling Stones and Led Zeppelin), Prodigal Sons bring passion and authenticity to every show, delivering fresh takes on beloved classics and powerful originals that keep their audience engaged from the first song to the last.

Know Before You Go:

• Free parking is located around the site— along Blvd of the Arts and Van Wezel Way, and in front of the Van Wezel, Municipal Auditorium and Blue Pagoda. Please avoid parking in designated Sarasota Orchestra parking areas.
• Some events attract large crowds: Arrive early, be kind, and please be patient.
• All pets must be non-aggressive and on a leash at all times. Owners are expected to pick up after their pets.
