The annual Taste of Chanukah Celebration hosted by Chabad of Sarasota will be held on Sunday, December 14, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 pm at Phillippi Estate Park located at 5500 S. Tamiami Trail, Sarasota.
The festival will feature a giant sand menorah sculpture, a Lego Menorah, a performance by the Garbage Men Band, an LED light robot, a 4-ton snow slide, a helicopter that will drop down Chanukah chocolate Gelt from the sky, face painting, music, DJ games, crafts for children, a trackless train ride, and Glatt Kosher food by Michael’s on East.
Cost: $7 per person for those registering online in advance before December 7. Thereafter, the price is $10 per person, with children under 12 free and free parking.
