It's that magical time of year again! The Annual Holiday Toy Drive is back, and I’d love for you to join us in making this Christmas a little brighter for children in our community.
For almost 14 years, this toy drive has been one of my favorite traditions, and thanks to the generosity of friends, family, and local businesses, we’ve been able to spread joy to hundreds of families over the years. This year, we’ll once again be collecting toys to benefit incredible organizations serving children and families in Sarasota and Manatee Counties, including SPARCC, Mothers Helping Mothers, Children First, and the Child Protection Center. These groups ensure that children experiencing domestic violence, financial hardship, or other challenges still get to experience the magic of the holidays.
Bring a new, unwrapped toy to the event. Think dolls, trucks, games, puzzles, books. Anything that would make a child’s eyes light up on Christmas morning.
Along with the toy collection, we’ll gather for an evening of holiday cheer, friendship, and community spirit. It’s always such a joy to see the mountain of toys grow as the night goes on. A true reminder of what can happen when we come together for a cause bigger than ourselves.
If you can’t make it but would still like to participate, donation boxes will also be placed at local businesses around town starting in October. If you are a local business and would like to host a collection box, please reach out to me. I’d love to partner with you!
And because it wouldn’t be a holiday party without a little fun… ugly Christmas sweaters are highly encouraged! 🎅✨ The tackier, the better and bonus points for sweaters that light up or even sing!
