Shanties on the Shore: A Fifth-Monday Sing on Harriet Island

Hey, folks. Monday the 30th is a rare Fifth Monday, when there's no scheduled sing in a pub or at Wabun Park, so Bonnie Jean MacKay has organized a riverfront shanty sing at the Great Staircase in Harriet Island Park in St. Paul. See below for all the details, and we hope to see you there.

Raise your voice and your spirits at Shanties on the Shore, a joyful community sing-along hosted by the St. Paul Yacht Club at scenic Harriet Island Regional Park.

Whether you’re a seasoned sea shanty singer or simply love songs of the water, this is your chance to gather with friends, neighbors, and fellow river lovers to celebrate life on the rivers, lakes, seas, and oceans through music. Attendees are invited to lead a tune, join the chorus, or simply sit back and enjoy an evening of humble performances and heartfelt harmonies.
