EVENT OVERVIEW:
Scheduled for Thursday, June 12, at Hard Rock Live in Rockford, the third annual DIAMONDS returns in honor of Rockford native Fred VanVleet -- NBA champion and all-star, entrepreneur, philanthropist and Rockford native.
Emceed by Nicole Briscoe, Roscoe native and ESPN SportsCenter anchor, DIAMONDS: Fred VanVleet features an array of interactive program elements, culminating with a live on-stage conversation and Q&A featuring VanVleet and Briscoe. Event proceeds benefit the Founders Commission and VanVleet Family Foundation, two certified 501(c)(3) charitable organization dedicated to uplifting Rockford through community and youth engagement, education, and more.
In addition to VanVleet’s headlining conversation, DIAMONDS features: a pre-event VIP reception (invite-only for sponsors and VIP ticket holders), dinner, live auction and paddle raise, music and entertainment, the unveiling of this year’s DIAMONDS Scholar post-secondary scholarship recipients, and Founders Commission’s Hall of Fame announcements. The pre-event VIP reception is from 5:30-6:30 p.m., while doors open to all other guests at 6:30 p.m. before the dinner program begins at 7 p.m. Formal attire with your favorite sneakers are requested.
