Be part of Rochester’s most magical holiday tradition! Rochester City Ballet invites young dancers ages 5–18 to audition for our 2025 production of The Nutcracker, featuring live music by the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra and performances at:
🎻 Kodak Hall at Eastman Theatre in Rochester, NY
🎭 Fort Hill Performing Arts Center in Canandaigua, NY
✨ Dancers may participate in one or both locations.
✨ Dance experience required for dancers ages 13–18.
✨ No experience needed for dancers ages 5–12.
✅ All dancers must register online in advance
📅 Audition Date: Sunday, August 24th
📍 Location: Rochester City Ballet Studios
🕘 Audition Schedule (Ages 5–12):
Ages 9–12
– Registration: 9:45 AM
– Audition: 10:00 AM
Ages 7–8
– Registration: 11:00 AM
– Audition: 11:15 AM
Ages 5–6
– Registration: 11:45 AM
– Audition: 12:00 PM
🩰 Audition for Dancers Ages 13–18
– Registration begins: 12:30 PM
– Audition time: 1:30–4:30 PM
– Dance experience is required for this audition group.
