Come spend an evening with folk-punk accordion troubadour Jason Webley, avant-garde puppeteer EnormousFace and local special guests in support of Flotsam, a “floating circus” that will be traveling down the Erie Canal and Hudson River this summer.
Flotsam is a crew of world-class circus artists and musicians who travel on a ramshackle raft giving free performances to audiences gathered on the shore. After successfully touring the Mississippi and Ohio Rivers, in 2025 Flotsam will be taking on the Erie Canal, making dozens of stops all the way from Buffalo to New York City. This tour is happening in partnership with NYS Canals and coincides with the Bicentennial Celebration of the opening of the original Erie Canal.
All proceeds from this event go towards supporting Flotsam on their tour.

JASON WEBLEY
Accordion troubadour, Jason Webley began his music career in 1998 howling on street corners and music festivals in Seattle. He developed a loyal cult following and became known for his compelling stage presence, whimsical stories and interactive stage productions. Armed with his squeezebox, beat-up parlor guitar, and porkpie hat, Webley has performed in over forty countries. Webley has released five albums on his own Eleven Records label, as well as numerous collaborations. Since 2019 he has been the captain of Flotsam River Circus.

ENORMOUSFACE is a slime mold who lives in a (w)hole in the sky with dozens of wild objects. Touring Not-Happenings and Puppet Shows around much of the un/known world, xE has recently been involved in the formation of Garbage Fest and periodically lectures on Speculative Inverted Ontology, exploring the cognitive dissonance of eco-nihilist jouissance and phoenix-like dHope [sic] on an exponentially crumbling planet. EnormousFace has received grants from the Jim Henson Foundation and been named "NYC's Most Avant-Garde Nihilist Subway Performer" by New York Magazine.
