Come join us for a fun-filled week of sewing and crafting at our in-person event located at 541 Southlake Blvd. Get ready to unleash your creativity and learn new techniques in a supportive and friendly environment.

Our experienced instructors will guide you through exciting projects and help you develop your sewing skills. From making trendy clothing to crafting cute accessories, there's something for everyone at Sew New Summer Camp.

This is designed for kids 8-16 by our co-owners Charity New and Molly McCay, and guest educator Amanda Campbell.

FABRIC IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE TICKET PRICE. You can purchase the project bundles for this class for an additional $50 at the door day one. We have a variety of fun buttons, trims and accessories that you can use.

Janome machines are provided, but feel free to bring your own fullsized machine if you want.

Pick up time is posted. If you can not pick up on time please don't take a spot, we have a $25 fee every 15 minutes you're late past the first 5 minutes. I will ask you to withdraw with no refund if you're late picking up without a call more than once.

Info: Day one we’ll work on learning our machines. Kids will learn to sew straight lines, curves, and pivots. We’ll learn to make a burrito method pillow case. Bring 1 yard of your main COTTON fabric, 1/2 yard coordinate for your cuff and 45” or 2.5” by the width of the fabric (WOF) of a trim fabric, and matching thread. No sequins no silk. This is our first two classes in our sewing 101 series.

Info: Day two we will learn to cut fabric, sewing circles, and designing fun faces. Kids will make a cute soup can shaped pin cushion with a face! Kids get to design and be creative and learn to stuff items.

Info: Day three we will cut, design, and sew a stuffed monster! Kids will make their own pieced (or drawn) monster stuffy. This teaches curves, turns, stuffing, and finishing.

Info: Bring a t-shirt that you like to wear, we'll make a pattern off your favorite shirt to make a reversable apron that fits you comfortably! Bring two yards of fabric, and coordinating thread. We'll provide decorative trims.

Info: Finish up your projects! Or bring another project for us to help with. At the end of the day, parents are invited to attend a show and tell so our kiddos can show all the things they learned this week! Parents come an hour before class ends on the last day so your kiddos can present you with their projects.
