Quilt Block of the Month: 12 Months, 12 Stunning Blocks!
Join us for a year of creativity, learning, and quilting fun! In our Quilt Block of the Month series, you’ll make one gorgeous 9-patch quilt block each month, building your skills step-by-step as you create 12 unique blocks over the course of the year. Whether you're a beginner or looking to refresh your quilting skills, this class is perfect for quilters of all levels.
For April's class we'll be making the Keepsake/Folded Corner pattern.
What You'll Learn:
Selecting Fabric: Each month, you’ll learn how to choose the perfect fabrics for your block. We’ll guide you through fabric selection, color theory, and how to mix prints and solids for a balanced design.
Cutting Fabric with Precision: You’ll master the art of cutting fabric accurately with rulers, rotary cutters, and mats — essential skills for creating clean, precise blocks every time.
Sewing the 9-Patch Block: Step by step, you'll sew your 9-patch block together, building your technique and learning tips and tricks to keep your blocks square and perfectly aligned.
Growing Your Quilt: At the end of each month, you’ll have a beautiful, finished block to add to your growing quilt! By the end of the year, you'll have a complete quilt top made of 12 stunning blocks.
Each class lasts 3 hours, giving you plenty of time to work on your block, ask questions, and get expert guidance. You’ll leave each session feeling accomplished and excited for the next month’s block. Plus, by the end of the year, you’ll have not only a beautiful quilt top, but a new set of quilting skills that will last a lifetime.

What to bring:
-Your machine in working order
-General sewing accessories such as scissors, thread, pins/clips, extra needles, etc.
-4 fat quarters of cotton fabric, or purchase in store.
-Fine line chalk pen (optional)
-Rotary cutter (optonal)
-6"-8" ruler (optional)
