2 Day Bookbinding Workshop

Date & Time: 2 day workshop - Saturday + Sunday July 26th-27th from 11am - 1pm

Description:
Come join local author/illustrator Argyle (NarwhalsExist.com) for a bookbinding extravaganza! Over the two days, we’ll learn how to make three different kinds of hardback books:
-A rebound paperback book with a circuit-cut cover,
-A Japanese Stab-bound book, and
-A Coptic-bound sketchbook

Supply List:
*please bring the following supplies. All items can be purchased at Nevada Fine Arts. Mention you are taking a class and receive a 10% discount.
Most supplies are included but please bring the following:
-a paperback book of your choice. Suggested no more than 1” thick
-book cloth, iron-on vinyl, and/or other cover paper if you want a specific color/pattern-a pencil
-scissors
-a bone folder
-a box-cutting knife
-a cork-back 18” ruler
-if you want something other than multi-purpose sketch paper, 3 large pieces of paper of your choice
-a book press. Preferably one with multiple tiers
