Battle Buddies Spring Session: Veterans & Individuals with Disabilities Redefining Possible Together

Spring Session: April 19 – June 22, 2025

IM ABLE Foundation's Battle Buddies program is a unique initiative that pairs veterans with individuals with disabilities. Over a 10-week period, Battle Buddies embark on a journey together, forming a strong bond and working as a team to redefine what is possible.

Weekly Workouts – Battle Buddies will have the option to meet on Saturday mornings for a weekly group workout led by an IM ABLE trainer. If buddies cannot meet on Saturdays, they may choose a different time and/or location to meet.

Special Activities – A variety of activities will be offered throughout the sessions that buddies can participate in including rock climbing, skiing, biking, kayaking, ropes courses, and more!

Community Engagement – Battle Buddies can also give back to their community by volunteering at food banks, veterans service organizations, shelters, or even fundraise to support adaptive athletes.

Commitment
Participants should plan to dedicate 1-2 hours per week to this program. While some activities may require additional time, attendance at these events is optional for buddies.
