Summer Reading Final Celebration with
PREDATORS: A Chewonki Traveling Natural History Program

PROGRAM FOR ALL AGES: Explore attitudes toward predators and reasons for their decline throughout history because of habitat loss and human interference. Discussion of current events emphasizes the importance of predators in maintaining the world’s ecological balance. Participants have the opportunity to study mounted animals and see three live, non-releasable predators!!

Chewonki’s Traveling Natural History Program “Predators” travels to Readfield on Monday August 18 at 6:00pm to celebrate the end of our Summer Reading Program! We will meet outside behind the Readfield Community Library at 1151 Main Street. Please bring chairs/blanket for your family. In case of bad weather, rain location will be Readfield Town Office at 8 Old Kents Hill Road. This event is FREE and open to the public. Raffle drawings for the Summer Reading "grand prizes" will also take place at this event. Winners do NOT need to be present.
