AUTHOR EVENT with NICK FULLER GOOGINS
The Readfield Community Library is excited to host Maine author Nick Fuller Googins for a talk on his second novel "The Frequency of Living Things." This event is free and open to the public.

Please join us outdoors behind the Library at 1151 Main Street, Readfield on Wednesday, August 6th at 6:30pm for this not-to-be-missed author event! Oliver & Friends Bookshop of Waterville will be on hand to sell copies of Nick’s books. If you have a packable chair, please bring one along as we have limited folding chairs. Rain location will be the Readfield Town Office at 8 Old Kents Hill Road, Readfield. NOTE: This is a date change from the originally scheduled date.

About the Book: Emma and Ara are one-hit wonder rock stars. Their mother, Bertie, cares so much about helping others that she's barely around for her family. And their younger sister Josie is the opposite—she's always there to help no matter what. When Ara's battles with addiction land her in prison, her sisters will stop at nothing to get her out before it's too late.

About the Author: Nick Fuller Googins is the author of the novels The Frequency of Living Things and The Great Transition (Atria Books). His short fiction and essays have appeared in The Paris Review, Men’s Health, The Sun, The Los Angeles Times, and elsewhere. He lives in Maine, and works as an elementary school teacher. He is a member of the Maine Writers & Publishers Alliance, as well as the National Education Association.
