The Sunset Social, Quakertown’s Second Saturday Event, is held May-September 4-7:30pm along Broad Street in Quakertown, PA. Come out for an evening of food & drink, music & shopping and free family fun.
In honor of National Garden Week the theme for June is 'Life's a Garden, Dig it?' with our 1st Annual Plant Swap! Bring any of the garden related items listed below and make some great trades, or just donate items without swapping!
Plants - indoor or outdoor
Cuttings, seeds, bulbs.
Garden tools (not motorized) full size and hand tools.
Garden equipment (motorized) MUST BE TAGGED if it is in working order. If not, marked what needs to be fixed
Garden decor, statues, wind chimes/spinners, bird houses
Fencing - decorative, wire, edging, border NO LARGE SECTIONS or CHAIN LINK
Pots - ceramic, plastic all sizes and cool things that would make fun planters.
Mulch, dirt, chemicals, grass seed - partial used okay.
Stepping stones, walkway items.
1. Drop off items to swap to the Triangle 3-4pm 6/14. You will receive SWAP TICKETS for your items.
2. All SWAPS must be competed between 4-6:30pm
3. People without swap tickets will be able to purchase items. Any funds raised will be donated to a local charity.
4. Leftover donated swap items will NOT BE RETURNED. They will be given away beginning at 7pm on the day of the swap.
When you are done playing in the dirt, enjoy dining at restaurants and food trucks, discover diverse shops, meet local artisans, grab a bouquet of flowers or fresh produce from area growers, play cornhole, meet some of the great community non-profits, see street performers and listen to live music.
