Guru Purnima: Honoring Our Teachers

Celebrated on the full moon in July, Guru Purnima is one of the most revered holidays in the yogic tradition. This day is dedicated to honoring our teachers and expressing gratitude for the wisdom they’ve shared—both those we’ve known personally and those who have come before us in our spiritual traditions and lineages.

Join us as we explore the deeper meaning of Guru Purnima through a brief discussion, a simple yoga asana (posture) practice, mantra chanting, and guided meditation.

This special event is open to all and, in the spirit of the holiday, is offered as a donation-based, pay-what-you-can class.
