SOS Build a VERSE BLOCK Crafting Day

Join us in the Fellowship Hall for a fun filled afternoon as we 'Craft for Christ', creating Unique Verse Blocks for our youth to offer as a 'by donation' fund raiser for their upcoming mission trip July 4-11. You do not need to be a master crafter to participate, just a willingness to pick up a paintbrush, marker or pair of scissors. This is truly a beginner level project!

Since the date and time frame selected falls on our usual SOS night, so as decided for our summer meetings, we ask that ladies bring a simple pot luck food to share. We will simply start EARLY at 4pm so we have plenty of creative time and keep going until ? (I am guessing 8pm-ish). Not available to come for the duration? That's okay! Drop by for as long as you can, each block can be finished in a short while!

Supplies will be provided; though we certainly encourage others to bring any crafting tools/items. Suggestions include (but not limited to): card stock, embellishments, pens, markers, scissors, brushes & paint to add to the available options we will have on hand.

There will be no set price on these 'works of art' - simply whatever each 'purchaser' chooses to donate to the youth. Each block will come with a creatively decorated verse card as shown in the picture.
