Yoga in the postnatal period is all about honoring your postpartum body and calming your mind. Giving birth and sustaining life is quite a journey. As you continue to adjust to life with a new little one at home, yoga allows you to breathe, balance, and tune in with yourself when you may otherwise put “me” time on the back burner.
Our classes offer much more than a yoga movements class, they are a safe, sacred space for women to come together, use their voices, be seen and be heard. A space to share our journeys, empower each other, voice our wisdom and flourish a community.
These classes offer the time for mum to recover from childbirth, and re-engage with her body whilst being able to develop the strong mum and baby connection. Sessions will include a yoga practice designed to reconnect, gently strengthen and recover the body after pregnancy as well as having time to relax and enjoy gentle touch with your baby.
Equipment will be provided but feel free to bring a blanket along with you and a couple of your baby's favourite toys.
Suitable for mummy and babies after their 6 week check with healthcare professionals until the stage of crawling.
If you had a C-Section, please consult with your midwife or doctor before joining the course.
Classes run term time only.
After the class we hope you can join us for a herbal tea and time to connect.
