The Night is Young 2

Del Norte High School's Theatre Department is excited to announce their second collaboration with PowPAC, Poway's Community Theatre. The Night is Young 2025 features four plays selected from DNHS's 11th annual one-act playwriting contest. Mentored during the school year by DNHS's W.H.A.T. Center and PowPAC's High School Outreach Staff, the students then created, wrote, cast, produced, directed, costumed, managed, and built their own sets! Performances are on PowPAC's stage.

Join us for the second installment of one-act plays by young playwrights! For the past six years, PowPAC has been committed to encouraging young people's engagement with theatre in the Poway Unified School District's high schools. Presented in collaboration with the Del Norte High School Theatre Society, The Night is Young 2025 is a family-friendly evening of award-winning short plays and an especially exciting outcome of that outreach.
