DJ RED TIDE will be joined by special guest SHOWTIME GOMA (hailing from New York & New Orleans) to bring you hot sweaty dance floor jams all night long. Expect pop, house, club, and bounce bangers on a grimy dancefloor.

We’ll be raising money for the fierce queer and trans young people at Portland Outright who are organizing to protect their rights and transform systems to make Maine a better place for all of us.

In a year of fearmongering and scapegoating of queer & trans people, let this night be a reminder that queer revelry is queer resistance.

ABOUT THE DJs:

dj red tide (@redtide207) is a portland & new orleans based queer dj with a love of everything from favorite throwbacks to left field club music. their sets drip pop nostalgia, bang housey remixes, and explore unexpected but irresistible corners of global dance music. red tide has been dj-ing and throwing parties in Portland for over a decade, with a focus on creating queer space for both dancing and radical politics. For upcoming events, writing on dance music, fun mixes follow red tide’s Substack.

Showtime Goma (@jengoma) is a performer, producer, DJ and writer/maker of music, video and live shows. They split time between Brooklyn and New Orleans, where they make rave-able art installations with their friends and fellow DJs; Everything Forever. Goma’s album “Smiley Face,” released under the moniker Showtime Goma, produced with Deerhoof's Greg Saunier, was placed on Rolling Stone’s list of "Albums to Stream Now” and Showtime Goma’s music and videos have appeared on Playboy, NPR and Pitchfork.
