Please join us as we gather in love, remembrance, and reflection to honor the life of Charlotte Fosgate, a bright and beautiful 16-year-old whose light left this world far too soon.
At this vigil, we will gently light lanterns in Charlotte’s name — each one a symbol of the love she deserved, the acceptance she should have always felt, and the light she brought into the world. These Lanterns of Love will shine not only for Charlotte, but for every trans child who has felt unseen, unloved, or unheard.
This evening is about gentleness, kindness, and compassion.
We ask that everyone who attends brings only love in their hearts — for Charlotte, for her family, and for each other. There will be space to sit, reflect, write messages of hope or remembrance, and join in the quiet beauty of light in the darkness.
Don't worry about bringing your own candles.
We will provide candles for the candlelight portion of the vigil, which will follow the lantern lighting.
Let us honor Charlotte not with anger, but with love. Let us carry her light forward.
