9th Annual Guided 4th of July "Fireworks & Glowsticks" Paddle

When:

Join us Friday July 4th from 9-10:30pm for our annual guided Fireworks & Glowsticks paddle on the Portage River.

We will be paddling along the banks of the Portage River in celebration of the 4th of July holiday.

Where:

Portage River Paddling Company - Port Clinton location.
3134 West Harbor Rd. Port Clinton, OH 43452

What's provided for each attendee:

~Your choice of a single kayak, double kayak, 2 man canoe, or 3 man canoe fitted with a lantern.
~A life vest
~A paddle
~A bottle of water
~Bug spray
~Glow sticks

What to bring (optional):

~A change of clothes (remember kayaking is a wet sport)
~A towel
~Water shoes
~A flashlight

All ages are welcome. Anyone under 18 however must be accompanied by an adult.

Difficulty:

Easy. No kayaking or paddling experience required.

We will go at a slow pace and enjoy the nighttime adventure and the fireworks in the surrounding areas!

Please arrive by 8:15pm so we can get everyone's waivers filled out and your boats ready.

Cost:

$35 per person
$20 Bring Your Own Kayak ($20 per person, includes a bottle of water, bug spray, glow sticks, the paddle itself, a safe place to park your car, and a lantern for your boat.Your boat must be registered with the state of Ohio)

Cancellation policy:

If you have to cancel please do so 72 hours prior to the event so we can try to book it for someone else. 24 - 72 hours prior a 50% refund will be issued. Within 24 hours no refund will be issued.
