Folk 4 Kids Concert: Shelby Means & Joel Timmons

Join us this summer for a lively folk music concert series just for kids—featuring toe-tapping tunes, sing-alongs, and family fun in the sun!

Shelby Means, a Grammy-winning bassist and vocalist, gained prominence with the all-female bluegrass band Della Mae in 2012. Her dynamic performances and rich musicality have since led her to collaborate with artists like Molly Tuttle & Golden Highway, touring extensively throughout 2024.

Joel Timmons, known for his role in the Charleston-based band Sol Driven Train, brings a rock-infused sound to the duo's repertoire. Together, Shelby and Joel form the musical partnership Sally & George, blending their distinct styles into a unique Americana fusion.

In 2025, both artists are set to release their debut solo albums, showcasing their individual artistry while continuing to collaborate as a duo. Their shared journey, both personal and professional, is rooted in their life on Folly Beach, South Carolina, where the coastal landscape inspires their music.
