The Pekin Park Concert Band, under the baton of our dedicated and beloved maestro Steven D. Skinner, has a beautiful new home at the Pekin Mineral Springs Park, AND it is named in Steve's honor! Say hello to The Steven D. Skinner Performing Arts Venue, cozily nestled on Pavilion Drive by the Hillside parking lot. Just remember to pack your lawn chairs or blankets, because this venue is all about that open-air good ol' summertime fun with no fixed seating. Best part? Every concert is free and totally accessible. We’re buzzing with excitement! (cue reed section)
