We are days away from the Peekskill Juneteenth Parade and Festival, and we can’t wait to celebrate with you! Your presence helps honor our history, culture, and the continued fight for freedom.
Please review the following Parade Day Instructions:
Check-In Location & Time:
Check-In Opens at 9:30 AM
1220 Park St. (Peekskill Park Street A.M.E. Church)
When you arrive, please check in with the Juneteenth Committee Member.
You’ll receive your Division Assignment and Parade Order at that time.
Schedule of Parade
9:30 AM – Check-In Begins
11:45 AM – Opening Prayer & Ceremony at the church
12:00 PM (approximately) – Parade Begins
Grandstand Viewing - (New for 2025)
The Grandstand will be located in front of the Paramount Theater on Brown St.
As you pass, groups will be announced and a brief message about your organization will be shared with the crowd, dignitaries, Grand Marshals and special guests.
Vehicle & Line-Up Instructions (Map to follow)
No vehicles are allowed on Park Street during the lineup.
Parade vehicles must line up at the corner of Broad St. & Park St.
Vehicles will enter the parade only when your group steps onto Broad Street.
After the grandstand:
Vehicles turn right on Division St., then left onto South St. Vehicles can park.
Walkers/bands will continue past the Gazebo, where the parade ends.
Please walk up toward Main Street after the parade concludes.
Spectator Viewing
Encourage all supporters and non-marching guests to view the parade from Brown Street for the best experience.
