Lampshade Making
What does the workshop cover?
This workshop will give you the opportunity to create your own drum lampshade to take home with you. You will be making a 30cm drum lampshade which can either be used as a ceiling lamp or a lampstand. You will be taken through each stage of the making, with plenty of time to ask questions.
What’s included?
We provide the kit for you along with instructions. You can also purchase fabric with us if you would like.
What you need to bring
Your fabric please, the best fabric for starting out with is a cotton or light upholstery fabric. 1/2 a metre will be plenty.
Who the workshop is suitable for
Complete beginner or someone wanting to have a reminder about how to make a lampshade.
Who the workshop is run by
Hayley (the Boo in LilyBoo) who is experienced in making lampshades and will guide you through each step of the process.
Other things you need to know
This workshop is held upstairs at LilyBoo. Once upstairs there is a bathroom and kitchen on the same floor and refreshments are included.
