What does the workshop cover?
Come and have a go at making some beautiful letters and learning about different pens and inks. Your tutor Ruth will guide you along the way, with handout sheets to copy, and to give advice on the next step, to help you start your own calligraphic journey.
Do you have some pens of your own, that you don’t know quite what to do with? Or old pens that you have found in a box somewhere? If you have enjoyed practising calligraphy before, maybe now is the opportunity to get going again. Maybe you have a wedding coming up and would like to write out those place names.
This workshop will be fun, fascinating with loads of advice, and you will be provided with all the equipment you will need for this three-hour workshop
