What does the workshop cover?
This workshop is a back to basics look at using your sewing machine. Whether you have sewed years ago and what to refresh your skills, or have never sewn before, this is the best place to start. We will
start with looking at the basic functions of your machine, such as tension and changing the stitches. We then will move through how to thread it and how to wind a bobbin, before practising with your sewing machine.
If we have time we will then move on to looking at sewing different fabrics and different seam finishes.
Morgan, your tutor will go through what the different functions are used for, in a relaxed and steady pace. We believe you should really get to know your sewing machine, so you can go home after
the workshop and feel comfortable you have the skills to practice sewing and even start your first projects!
