Yoga nidra, it is a state of consciousness, that is not sleep, not wake and not a dream. Join Sierra each month for a yummy yoga nidra meditation.

Yoga Nidra is an ancient form of guided meditation that can be used to make positive changes in your life. You will set a sankalpa that is a positive affirmation of something you want to manifest in your life. As your brainwaves slow down, your subconscious mind will absorb your manifestation as it releases old patterns that are sabotaging your life. Many of these old patterns you may not even be aware of. We also have undigested experiences from our past. These undigested experiences affect our current choices. Yoga nidra helps us to digest them and let them go. You don't even have to know what they are, it is not necessary to name them.

This will be a wonderful way to relax after a week of being back to work. Yoga nidra calms the nervous system, improves sleep, and allows you to be more present in your day to day life. Some gentle somatic movement will precede the meditation.
