Girl Like That (your next favourite band) formed at the start of 2024, and currently consist of Lucy Peer (vocals/guitar), Francesco Reni (lead guitar) and Arun Dobson (bass and a pretty face). In their first year, GLT released their debut album Medicine Box, played multiple festivals including Truck, were picked up by BBC introducing, and continued to gig regularly around the South of England.
2025 saw the initiation of the Bad Boys in Bands tour, which they are following up with performances at Whittstock, Guilfest and a return to Truck.
NOTHING DREAMS

Nothing Dreams are Charlie Bath (lead guitar), Alf Ferrero (bass), Wilfred Johnson (lead vocals, rhythm guitar) and Phil Platt (drums). They first came together in late 2021 as everyone emerged from the pandemic; they played their first gig in April 2022 at the Jericho Tavern.
After recording three tracks in a day for their debut EP Fall from the Skies in late 2023, they subsequently released three further singles through 2024. They like to play concise, melodic compositions and their style mixes inspiration from indie/alternative rock, punk, post-punk and new wave with a bit of grunge, folk and soul in there too. Their upcoming single releases in 2025 are titled “Whatever You Want” and “I Can’t Love You Anymore”.
QUAKING ASPENS
https://quakingaspensmusic.com/
Quaking Aspens are an ethereal alt-rock outfit carving their name into Brighton's vibrant music scene. Since relocating to the city in 2022, they've swiftly established themselves in the local music scene and beyond, appearing on BBC Introducing Sussex and Surrey as well as lighting up stages from festivals like The Alternative Escape and Homegrown Brighton, to appearing in more intimate settings for Sofar Sounds and at the Bella Union Vinyl Shop's Sandwich Sessions.
Their sound is a lush collision of electric guitars and intricately layered vocals, weaving together influences from alt-rock, shoegaze, and folk. Underpinned by driving rhythms, their music has been described as both visceral and evocative.
“Moody in all the right ways, Quaking Aspens deliver a sound that is as interesting as it is beguiling…they’ve been able to create an atmosphere very much their own and their live show is nothing short of hypnotic” - The Folklore Rooms
"Quickly becoming one of Brighton’s most-beloved..." - Brighton and Hove News
