As Danced in the Films of Jane Austen Workshop

Only one dance is mentioned in Austen’s novels - Le Boulanger, but we know that Austen herself enjoyed dancing. In this 250th anniversary year of the birth of Jane Austen, join Georgettes as we look at and learn some of the dances from film adaptions of Jane Austen’s works.
Whether you are Elizabeth Bennet and Fitzwilliam Darcy dancing to Mr Beveridge’s Maggot at the Netherfield Ball, or Emma Woodhouse and Frank Churchill dancing to Hole in the Wall at the Crown Inn Assembly you are very welcome to join us at this workshop.
