An innovative Ottawa-born folk-rock singer/songwriter with a key focus on cultivating joy and wonder in Canadian geography, Graven is a wordsmith of song whose passion is to create a highly accepting and inclusive community of music lovers.
His record Years, released in 2020, was produced by singer/songwriter Jim Bryson, who also produced Kathleen Edward’s award-winning album Total Freedom. But Matty’s 2022 album Simple Complex is still charting across many college radio stations in Canada and the US, with decent AirPlay on CBC, and even scoring a number 3 spot on CKCU FM’s top 50 albums of 2022. Matty is currently preparing to record a new album touring throughout Southern and Eastern Ontario, Southwestern Quebec, the Maritimes, the Golden Horseshoe, and growing his dedicated fanbase.
Multi-instrumentalist Hendrika is a folk musician from the Yukon. Her love of many genres has led to a versatile and unique collection of original material that pushes the boundaries of modern music - intricate melodies with grounding folk roots, classic rock riffs and soaring vocals will leave you absolutely captivated. Her magnetic live show has been toured across Canada at festivals and stages such as Breakout West 2024, Lilac Festival, and Dawson City Music Festival. She has opened for Ivan Coyote, Jenn Grant, Declan O'Donovan and many more. Her song You've Got Gold was included in CBC's top 100 Canadian songs of 2024 and she was also one of Exclaim!'s Emerging Canadian Artists You Need to Hear in 2024. She released her new EP I Can’t Remember in the fall of 2024 and is touring the album in 2025 with dates such as NXNE, Folk on the Rocks and Tiny Lights Festival.
