Come join us for an evening in the beauty of nature, singing songs of praise and love with community. The Britannia beach sunsets are incredible!
There is no need to be a "good" singer. This is about the collective energy of group singing from our hearts.
Song sheets will be provided. Bring something to sit on, water to drink, and warm layers/blankets (it tends to be colder by the water, especially as sun goes down).
You are also welcome to bring hand drums or other percussive instruments to play along with us. ❤
Rebecca White Raven (voice and other instruments) and Justine-Anjali (voice and harmonium) will be guiding you through this practice called kirtan, a practice of the heart. There will likely also be other musicians from time to time…stay tuned!
Our practice will be repeating mantras - repeated words of love, light and praise. By doing this, we have a way of meditating by concentrating on music, sound, and vibrations. This shall be a practice of the heart; all you need is receptiveness, a smile, and your beautiful presence.
A donation basket will be left out for your offering ($20 suggested)
You will find us by the far end of the point behind the community center, west of the main beach near the end of the point where the smaller rockier beach is.
Be sure to dress for the weather! It is typically breezy on the beach, and once the sun starts to go down, it can get chilly.
Parking is often difficult to find in the beach parking lots. Be sure to leave plenty of time to park; it is recommended to park on the streets in the surrounding area.
