Curious about Argentine Tango? Our bootcamp is the perfect opportunity to get a taste of tango and dip a toe into one of Ottawa's hidden subcultures!
In the Bootcamp, you'll learn:
- How to create a great tango embrace
- Your first figures
- How to be a good tango citizen!
All students will learn both roles from the beginning.
This is a perfect opportunity for:
- Absolute beginners who are curious about tango
- Dancers who have not been on the dance floor for a long time
- Dancers who are interested in learning the opposite role
All events will be taking place at 430 Churchill Avenue.

For all Beginner Classes
NO PARTNER NECESSARY if you are okay with switching partners.
If you are not okay with this, come with a partner that you know and trust. Each partner must fill out their own form.
You do not need special shoes, just clean ones that will not damage a hardwood floor.
If you need food throughout the bootcamp, feel free to bring a snack. We will provide some fruit, cookies, and water.
