PROGRAMMING 5:00 - 6:15 PM - Screening + Panel Discussion + Q&A We'll watch LOCA together! Then using LOCA as a springboard, our panel will dive into the rich world of the tango connection. Véronique will be joined by Pooya Rowghanian and Isabelle Oppenheim, each offering their unique perspectives on this deeply human experience. The conversation will be moderated by Jacques Hamel. Following the panel, there will be a chance to ask questions and join in the conversation. 6:30 - 7:45 PM - Workshop: Explore Elements of the Tango Connection (For ALL Levels) Let's move beyond conversation about the tango connection and into embodied experience. In this hands-on workshop, Pooya and Isabelle will guide participants through exercises designed to deepen connection between partners. Explore the subtle art of connecting through a listening touch, and heightened sensitivity — both with yourself and your partner. 8:00 PM - Midnight Milonga La Capital, with tandas by our friend DJ Pooya VENUE We are happy to host La Capital at the Westboro Masonic Hall at 430 Churchill Avenue North. PARKING There is plenty of free parking a short distance from the venue. The bar (taking debit/credit/interac) will be open, offering both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. PRICING for June 14 $35 for the screening/discussion + tango workshop + milonga $25 for just the screening + tango workshop $20 for the milonga only All that being said, I will also not turn anyone away because they cannot afford it.
