Join us at Fire Escape for creative fun this summer! Each camp is separate day with a unique theme that will inspire our 2-3 projects. All the camps in this listing will be at Mud on Main 423 N. Main Street Oshkosh, Wisconsin.
Age Requirement: Each day camp has a specific age requirement, see camp dates for details. Most of the regular summer camps hosted on Wednesday or Friday, range in age groups from 7-17 years old.
Schedule: Each camp will run from 9:00AM-3:00PM. Lunch will take place around noon each day. The last hour of each camp will be for Makers Hour, where campers will be given supplies to create from their imagination. Campers who are at multiple camps may bring back things from Makers Hour to other camps to continue to work on them.
Cost: Each camp is $72. You can add on a lunch ($12.00) or pack your own - see details below. We encourage campers to bring their own water bottle to camps.
CAMP DESCRIPTIONS ARE COMING
June 13th - Escape Room Camp
The kids will have the opportunity to participate in doing an escape room at Escape Oshkosh! (within walking distance of Mud on Main) Once we complete the Escape Room we will return to Mud on Main to create some hand-built projects based on inspiration from the Escape Room. (Projects include things like a hand-made puzzle, hand-built fairy doors and creations based on their own escape room ideas!
June 18th - Dinosaur
DINOSAURS! Just in time for the release of the new Jurassic World this summer! We will spend some time learning about fossils and how they are formed before we dive into making our own fossil projects. Kids will excavate as part of their own hand-built pottery project, along with a class built volcano that we will erupt as a group during camp.
June 25th - Beach
July 25th - Beach
Put your best sandal forward and get ready for a fun filled beach clay camp right here. We will spend the day exploring and discussing different sea life, while creating our favorite sea creatures with clay. We'll work together on some beach-going accessories to have your kids ready for their next beach outing.
July 30th - Garden Kids will get the chance to create their own wheel thrown plant pot and base utilizing both the pottery wheel and hand building skills. In this camp we will learn about plants native to the mid-west while building projects. A brief walk (as weather permits) will allow us to do some plant and flower identifying. The kids will then get the opportunity to create their own seed bombs for their planters.
Aug 6th - Artist Spotlight In this camp we will focus on famous artists, creating pieces inspired by their artwork. Kids will get the opportunity to learn about various art techniques with a variety of projects that include clay hand-buidling, mixed media and painting.
Aug 27th - Lore Camp
Get the chance to build your own fantasy world in Lore Camp. Start the day with making a map of your world while we do brainstorming activities for world and character building. We will then create our own characters and world structures using clay hand-building projects.

Lunch : We will ask the kids what lunch they would like to choose in the morning. Lunch options may be changing this year we will be finalizing these closer to summer, you can always add on a lunch for your campers at a later date.
Projects : Projects for camps may change due to availability. Some projects will need to be fired and then painted at a later date, you can return anytime to complete these projects.
