Yin Yoga

Level: NO experience necessary. Beginners always welcome!
Cost: By Donation, suggested donation is $10 per student per class
This class is appropriate for all levels of practice. Yin yoga is a slow-paced style of yoga with postures that are held for longer periods of time—3 to 5 minutes. Yin yoga poses focuses on the connective tissue of the body—the tendons, fascia, and ligaments—with the aim of increasing circulation in the joints and improving flexibility. A more meditative approach to yoga, yin aims at cultivating awareness of inner silence, and bringing to light a universal, interconnecting quality.

~ Each student attending needs their own registration
~ Please park on the semi-circle in front of the Ashram. Additional parking is available behind the Ashram and in the side lot by the gardens.
~ Entry to the Ashram is through the front doors only.

* Please have your shoulders covered when not practicing yoga
* Please speak softly and respectfully
* No food or drink should be brought into alter rooms
* Please leave water bottles in the hallway
* Please do not touch the stained glass in the Saraswati Mandir
