«Τόνενες: Ρίζες και Δημιουργία»
Η Λεβέντειος Πινακοθήκη, στο πλαίσιο της εταιρικής κοινωνικής ευθύνης, συνεργάζεται για ακόμα μια φορά με τον φιλανθρωπικό οργανισμό «Σύνδεσμος Ευημερίας Ατόμων με Νοητική Αναπηρία (ΣΕΑΝΑ)» για τη συνδιοργάνωση της φιλανθρωπικής έκθεσης «Τόνενες: Ρίζες και Δημιουργία».
Εγκαίνια έκθεσης: 11 Ιουνίου 2025, στις 19:00.
Η έκθεση παρουσιάζει μια μοναδική συλλογή από παραδοσιακές τόνενες καρέκλες που απέκτησαν νέα ζωή μέσα από την εικαστική παρέμβαση καλλιτεχνών από τον χώρο του πολιτισμού και της κοινωνίας. Οι καρέκλες μεταμορφώνονται σε έργα τέχνης που τιμούν την παράδοση, ενώ ταυτόχρονα εκπέμπουν δημιουργικότητα και κοινωνική ευαισθησία.
Η έκθεση θα διαρκέσει μέχρι και την Κυριακή 15 Ιουνίου 2025 και θα κορυφωθεί με δημοπρασία, αποκλειστικά μέσω του φιλανθρωπικού οργανισμού, τα έσοδα της οποίας θα διατεθούν εξ ολοκλήρου για την ενίσχυση των δράσεων του.
Μέσα από τον συνδυασμό της τέχνης, της πολιτιστικής κληρονομιάς και της φιλανθρωπίας, η Λεβέντειος Πινακοθήκη καλεί το κοινό να στηρίξει αυτή την προσπάθεια με βαθύ κοινωνικό αποτύπωμα.

'Tonenes: Roots and Creativity'
As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility programme, the A. G. Leventis Gallery is once again partnering with the charitable organisation Association for the Welfare of People with Mental Handicap (SEANA) for the co-organisation of the charity exhibition 'Tonenes: Roots and Creation'.
Exhibition opening: June 11th 2025, at 19:00.
The exhibition will present a unique collection of traditional ‘tonenes’ chairs, revitalised through the artistic intervention of creators from the world of culture and the wider community. The chairs are transformed into works of art that honour tradition while expressing creativity and social awareness.
The exhibition will run until Sunday, 15 June 2025, and will culminate in a charity auction – organised exclusively by the association – with all proceeds going directly to support its initiatives.
Through the combination of art, cultural heritage, and philanthropy, the A. G. Leventis Gallery invites the public to support this meaningful cause with a profound social impact.
