Τα «Γράμματα στη Θάλασσα»
Στη Λεβέντειο Πινακοθήκη
H Λεβεντειος Πινακοθήκη σε συνεργασία με τις Ρεβέκκα Κατσαρή (παιδαγωγό), Μαρίνα Κατσαρή (αφηγήτρια/θεατροπαιδαγωγό) και Μελίσσα Γκαρσία-Κάρο (περφόρμερ/χορογράφο) και με αφορμή την Παγκόσμια Ημέρα Περιβάλλοντος, ενώνει τις δυνάμεις της με το παγκόσμιο κίνημα «Γράμματα στη Θάλασσα» και φιλοξενει στον χώρο της Πινακοθήκης, το Σάββατο, 14 Ιουνίου 2025, ένα μοναδικό εργαστήριο το οποίο οι εμψυχώτριες σχεδίασαν ειδικά για αυτή την ξεχωριστή μέρα.
Μέσα από αφήγηση, ήχο, κίνηση και δημιουργική γραφή, τα παιδιά θα εξερευνήσουν τα θαύματα της θάλασσας, βιώνοντας τη σύνδεσή τους με το υδάτινο περιβάλλον. Με την καθοδήγηση των εμψυχωτριών, θα γράψουν επιστολέςαγάπης και ευγνωμοσύνης προς τη θάλασσα, μετατρέποντας τα λόγια τους σε φάρους ελπίδας και σεβασμού. Αυτή η δράση αποτελεί την πρώτη σε μια σειράβιωματικών εργαστηρίων, που θα ακολουθήσουν κάτωαπό την ομπρέλα του παγκόσμιου κινήματος «Γράμματα στη Θάλασσα», ενισχύοντας τη φωνή των παιδιών για την προστασία των θαλασσών μας.
Το εργαστήρι βασίζεται και αντλεί έμπνευση από τον πίνακα του Raoul Dufy (1877-1953) «Ρεγκάτα στη Θάλασσα», 'Régates sur la Manche' από τη Συλλογή του Παρισιού.

'Letters to the Sea'
Αt the A.G. Leventis Gallery
We are thrilled to announce that A. G. Leventis Gallery will be celebrating International Environment Day, joining the global initiative "Letters to the Sea" and its ongoing efforts effort to raise awareness and inspire action for our planet on Saturday, 14th of June, along with Rebecca Katsaris (educator) Marina Katsaris (storyteller/drama educator) and Mélissa Garcia Carro (performer/choreographer).
Through storytelling, sound, movement, and creative writing, children will explore the wonders of marine life, experiencing their deep connection with the ocean environment. Guided by our facilitators, they will write letters of love and gratitude to the sea, turning their words into beacons of hope and respect. This workshop marks the beginning of a series of experiential activities under the umbrella of the global movement "Letters to the Sea," amplifying children's voices for the protection of our ocean.
The workshop will draw inspiration from Raoul Dufy's (1877-1953) painting ‘Regatta in the Channel’, 'Régates sur la Manche', part of the Paris Collection.
