🎨🎶 Join Us for the Grand Finale of the Linda Plaut Festival of the Arts (FOA)! 🎶🎨
Mark your calendars! On Saturday, June 28th from 10 am - 12pm, we’re hosting the final celebration of the Linda Plaut Festival of the Arts with a fun community event at the Newton Centre Plaza and Green—and you won’t want to miss it!
🌟 What’s Happening?
✨ Community ChalkFEST – Led by professional artist Jill Strait. Everyone is invited to bring some chalk and help create Chalky the Sidewalk Snake! The creating starts at 10am.
🎵 Live Music – Enjoy a live musical performance at the ARTFUL PIANO on the green, bringing energy and fun to the afternoon. Listen to the students of Jia Shi and enjoy the jazzy sounds of Ken Gordon and friends.
While we close out the FOA we will also celebrate the Plaza Pilot with an
🎀 Opening Celebration –the official opening of the Newton Centre Plaza Pilot at 12noon.
This is a FREE event, open to all—so bring your friends, family, and creativity for an unforgettable afternoon of art, music, and community! Grab a “lunch to go” from a local Newton Centre restaurant and bring it to the new plaza pilot where there will be seating, games, live music by the City Hall Strummers community ukulele ensemble, and other fun activities.
