Try Blind Hockey and Blind Skating

Every person should have the chance to ice skate once in their life. The first steps in blind hockey are learning to skate, and at the Jersey DareDevils Blind Hockey Team, we want every visually impaired child and adult to have that opportunity!

We will be hosting a Try Blind Hockey event at the RWJ Barnabas Hockey House at the Prudential Center. All blind and visually impaired children and adults are welcome to attend. No experience is necessary and all equipment is provided! Come beat the summer heat, but make sure to bring pants and a sweatshirt!

Our coaches and players from the USA Blind Hockey Team will assist new skaters in getting comfortable on the ice in a safe, accessible, blind-friendly environment. If you're comfortable, grab a stick and take a shot on net! After our skate, stay around to watch the Jersey Pro League games.
