Shane Kelly about his Brother In Law's journey
"After an exceptionally long and uncertain journey, Hector has been diagnosed with Stage 4 Burkitt’s Lymphoma. Treatment has begun, and the fight is on.
For those who don’t know Hector, he’s an incredible father to three amazing kids, including his youngest, my 4-year-old nephew who adores him. He’s also a dedicated law enforcement officer who has spent years serving and protecting his community in rural Oregon.
This battle won’t be easy. The road ahead will be tough, but Hector and Alex tougher. Right now, they need all the support they can get. If you’re able to help in any way, it would mean the world.
We believe in Hector. 💙'

From Liza Lima about additional donation opportunities
'As paramedics prepared Hector for transfer to OHSU he asked Alexandra for his sunglasses. They helped him with the light sensitivity he was experiencing. He turned to the paramedics and asked them if they knew why he was wearing them. Before they could answer he said with a smile, “because my future is bright.”
Help us spread Hector’s positivity by supporting this fundraiser💚 #myfutureisbright
