Missoula June 14 No Kings Parade & Rally

The Missoula June 14th event, which coincides with Flag Day and Trump’s shameful military parade birthday party, will be a community parade followed by a rally. The parade will begin at 4PM at the Xes. Community groups and members should bring your favorite flags, banners, and community art with them as they march.

The parade will continue down to Caras Park where the rally program will begin. The focus of the rally is on how the United States is a democracy representing a diverse and resilient people, not a kingdom. Speakers will talk about how the Army was formed 250 years ago to stand up to a monarch and highlight the strength and resilience of groups our government has tried to force to assimilate (most of which also have June days of celebration): African Americans, LGBTQIA2S+, and Native Americans.
Following speeches, we will have a community celebration featuring local musicians, information tables from local community organizations, and food trucks
