Siobhan Miller Trio at Montrose Folk Club

Normally appearing in larger venues with her full band, Siobhan Miller, one of Scotland’s most celebrated Singer Songwriters, will sing for us at Montrose Playhouse as part of a Spring 2025 intimate Trio tour. She will be joined by two of Scotland’s finest musicians, Innes White, on guitar, and Charlie Stewart, on fiddle. The acoustic setting is the perfect opportunity to see and hear Siobhan’s beautiful voice and songs up close and personal.

Siobhan’s vocal talents have earned her numerous accolades, including four BBC Alba Scots Singer of the Year titles and a BBC Radio 2 Folk Award. She has released five solo Albums, all of which have been shortlisted for the BBC Alba Album of the Year, including her latest, entitled “Bloom”. An out and out freewheeling celebration of much-loved Scottish songs, Bloom deftly balances a love of both traditional and contemporary material.

Siobhan has been a regular performer at Glasgow’s Celtic Connections festival, including in 2022, when she featured amongst the star-studded Transatlantic Sessions line-up, duetting with Paul Brady and Sarah Jarosz. This is a rare opportunity to hear Siobhan Miller in intimate surroundings, and to experience her stunning vocals and lyrical songs in a special setting.
