Eagle Lake Mother's Day Kayak Tour

Join Ranger Demetriou for a unique kayaking adventure on Eagle Lake at Meeman-Shelby Forest State Park!

This special paddle offers exclusive access to Eagle Lake, open only through ranger-led tours, making it a rare chance to explore its serene waters. Perfect for nature enthusiasts, you’ll identify wildlife like bald eagles, turtles, deer, and herons while Ranger Demetriou shares expert insights amidst the Chickasaw Bluffs. We will identify plants and wildlife as part of the City Nature Challenge.

Bring your own kayak, paddle, and life jacket, or use gear provided by the park—no experience needed, just a passion for the outdoors! At $25 per person if you bring your own gear or $30 per person if you rent ours. This 1.5 hours journey blends paddling, learning, and discovery.
