Education and Strategies to Prevent Falls

Increase your longevity by decreasing your risk of falls. This session will cover simple, balance-focused exercises, practical fall prevention strategies for both home and community settings, and a brief screening to help determine your fall risk. Presented by Kimberly Kuckuk, Manager of Rehab Services at Froedtert Menomonee Falls Hospital.

Kimberly Kuckuk graduated as a Physical Therapist in 2009 and has since worked in outpatient therapy, hospital settings, and currently serves as a manager within Froedtert Health.

Accessibility

This event will be held in the Community Room at Menomonee Falls Public Library, W156 N8436 Pilgrim Road, Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin.

The Library has a variety of accessible parking spots located near the Library's entrance. We have a limited number of wheeled walkers and wheelchairs available inside the Library.

The Community Room is located on the first floor of the Library. This space is ADA accessible and is equipped with a hearing loop assistive listening system.

Enter the Library through the automatic doors, then turn right and head towards the Community Room hallway.
