Zoe "Avid Violin" Johnson @ SPG

Zoe "Avid Violin" Johnson will be playing on the SPG stage from 12-2 p.m. Enjoy a cold beer from our singles case, a delicious sandwich from our deli, and great live music on our covered patio. Zoe Shalome-Inez Johnson, born and raised in Memphis, grew up in a musical family with musician parents and a rapper brother. ​ Her mother recognized her musical talent early and taught her piano, ear training, and music theory. ​ In middle school, Zoe chose orchestra and fell in love with the violin, inspired by Vivaldi's Four Seasons. ​ By high school graduation in 2018, she had participated in various regional and state orchestras, honor festivals, and created her own string quartet. ​ She recorded her first song with her brother and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in December 2023. ​ Zoe now teaches private lessons, performs around Memphis, and has started composing music. ​ Known as Avid Violin, she released her first song "Dawn" on February 2, 2024, and is working on her first album.​
