Whet Thursdays – Ballroom on the Bluff

Join us for Whet Thursdays at the Metal Museum! Whet Thursdays are free monthly events on the last Thursday of the month, where you can enjoy free admission to the museum, live entertainment, hands-on activities, metalsmithing demonstrations and craft cocktails in a beautiful riverside bluff setting.

BALLROOM ON THE BLUFF
This month’s “Whet Thursday” featuring ballroom dancing lessons, is a unique and captivating evening that blends metal, music and movement in an inspiring setting. Set against the
backdrop of the museum’s stunning collection of metal art and sculptures, this event offers guests the chance to explore the elegance and tradition of ballroom dance in a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.

The evening kicks off with an introduction to various ballroom dance styles, such as the waltz, tango, foxtrot, or salsa. Taught by Cat’s Ballroom Dancing, instructors will guide participants
through basic steps and techniques. Whether you’re a beginner or have some experience, the lessons are designed to help you feel comfortable and confident on the dance floor.
