The Guaranty Bank Cooper Young Festival will be celebrated on Saturday, September 13 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. On this day, the second Saturday after Labor Day every year, we turn up the dial on fun with a free, family-friendly, music, arts and crafts street festival. It’s the biggest party of the summer! We can’t wait to see you.
The Kid’s Treasure Cove is the place for all your little pirates to head for carnival games of chance, prizes, face painting and art activities! Hosted by Pearls of Grace, all proceeds from the Treasure Cove will go to serve children, youth and young adults through mentoring and education of life-skills shifting participants out of the cycle of generational poverty. Enjoy pig racing, hole-in-one golf, Koosh ball toss, ring the bell, lollipop pull and much more. Fun, fun, fun for all the littles here!
The Cooper Young Festival is all about the unique art finds from over 400 artists. Our artisans will be showing and selling a plethora of art like original art paintings on canvas, iron hummingbirds, driftwood clocks, glasswork, sculptures, tie-dye, insect art, vinyl record upcycles, windchimes, leatherwork, gemstones, vintage pieces and the unique, weird and wonderful.
We have reopened our INTERNATIONAL BAZAAR in the First Congo Church parking lot. This is THE place for all things imported from other countries, mass produced items, t-shirts, clothing lines etc.
Enjoy some of the best Memphis musicians starting at 11:00 am on two stages!
We are thankful for our wonderful sponsors that help make the CYFEST free for everyone!
