The Luiza Girardello Band plus Flora

Brazilian native, Boston-based award-winning singer-songwriter, educator and photographer Luiza Girardello is bringing her wonderful band back to the Distillery. This will be the 3d time SHK has hosted Luiza - and while we were enamored with her sound at first blush, it has been a privilege and huge pleasure to see how her musical journey has evolved over the last several years.

Her work defies easy categorization, blending the rhythmic pulse of South America with the raw energy of alternative rock, the sophistication of jazz, and the emotional immediacy of Latin-inspired melodies. Here is a taste of her range: GTFO: and her auto-biographical song Resilience: .

Featuring Niko, Luiza's guitarist, the band Flora will be opening the evening - they strive to push forward the boundaries of music by crafting emotive compositions that engage the listener, creating a sound that is as visceral as it is cerebral. Blending dizzying rhythms, lush harmonies, and soulful melodies.

This event is being hosted by SHK Music at Boston Harbor Distillery - a wonderfully unique and intimate setting to take in great music with its 1850's architecture, great acoustics, comfortable seating and fantastic selection of made-on-the-premises liquors and liqueurs.
