More Than a Figment

Figment is a high-energy collective that merges blues and electronic funk with the improvisational spirit of jazz fusion. Born out of jam sessions at Northeastern University in 2024, the band has quickly developed a tight, playful sound inspired by artists like Vulfpeck, Snarky Puppy, and Herbie Hancock.

Don't let their youth fool you - these are very talented musicians who focus on creating engaging and dynamic music while balancing complex harmonies and rhythms with a groove that gets people moving. Guitar, keys, bass, drums, melodica and vocals. A taste of their sound:

This event is being hosted by SHK Music at Boston Harbor Distillery - a wonderfully unique and intimate setting to take in great music with its 1850's architecture, great acoustics, comfortable seating and fantastic selection of made-on-the-premises liquors and liqueurs.
